Sightseeing with the Vienna City Card
As an additional offer, we provide you with a hop-on hop-off ticket for Vienna Sightseeing Tours or Big Bus Tours Vienna – valid for the duration of your Vienna City Card.
With the additional hop-on hop-off ticket for €34.00, you can choose your preferred hop-on hop-off bus partner during the validity period of your Vienna City Card (valid from the start date of your Vienna public transport ticket) and use it for the same period of validity as your public transport ticket!
This is new! From now on, the hop-on hop-off add-on offer is no longer valid for 24 hours, but for the same duration as the selected public transport ticket.
Important: The hop-on hop-off add-on offer must be redeemed within the selected validity period!
Example: If you purchase a 24-hour ticket, you must redeem the hop-on hop-off add-on within 24 hours! If you purchase a 7-day ticket, you must redeem the hop-on hop-off add-on within those 7 days.
Depending on which bus partner you choose, you'll be spoilt for choice with up to 4 different routes to decide which sights you'd like to see.
Decide on a partner, validate your ticket on the bus and off you go. During validation, you will receive a printed ticket that you must carry with you on every HOP ON HOP OFF trip. Hop on and off at any stop, as you please. Please note, however, that once you have chosen/validated your ticket on the selected bus, it is no longer possible to change to the other partner.
A self-guided tour, an independent walk through the city with audio commentary, is also included. And, good to know, with every Vienna City Card tour, one child up to the age of 15 travels for free.
How to book your Add Ons
Once you are convinced of the Vienna City Card's extensive range of offers, you can easily book your additional offer:
- Select desired card type = select product type and determine duration of public transport if necessary (24h, 48h, 72h or 7 days)
- Add optional additional offer (Hop-On Hop-Off and/or Aiport Transfer)
- Configure Vienna City Cards: Define period of use
- Select "App Ticket" as the delivery method (prerequisite: download the "ivie" app)
- Order Vienna City Card subject to payment
- Enter the activation code from the order confirmation in the "ivie" app and off you go!
