The Vienna City Card can be booked up to 8 weeks in advance. 

You can individually select the start date and the exact start time for the 24/48/72h/7days ticket for Wiener Linien when configurating your Vienna City Card order. From this time onwards, you can use public transport operated by Wiener Linien. No further validation is required (applies to app and print@home tickets).

Each Vienna City Card 24/48/72h/7days includes free travel on public transport for one child up to their 15th birthday (or one dog).

Numerous advantage partners offer discounts for children.

As soon as your child is 15 years old, a separate ticket must be purchased.

-> Airport Transfer: 2 children up to their 15th birthday travel for free.
-> 24h Hop-On Hop-Off: 1 child up to their 15th birthday travels for free.

The 24h/48h/72h tickets refer to hours. The 24/48/72h refer to the period of validity of the Wiener Linien ticket. This is valid for the exact period you selected during personalisation.

The 7-day ticket refers to calendar days. This is valid for the exact period you selected when personalising your ticket.

No, once the ticket type has been selected and personalized, it can no longer be changed and cannot be cancelled free of charge. As there are different ticket types in the Wiener Linien system, it is not possible to use both options at the same time.

No, it is not possible to change the validity period after configuration. We recommend that you order your ticket shortly before departure so that you can react flexibly to last-minute changes to your travel plans. Please check all entries before you configurate irrevocably.

Due to the requirements of Wiener Linien, we cannot cancel or refund personalized tickets.

We would like to point out that you can expect to be checked on public transport and at the stops. Anyone caught without a ticket must expect to pay a fee of 105 euros. If payment is not made immediately, the additional charge will increase to a total of 115 euros. 

No, the Vienna City Card does not offer any special discounts for physically disabled persons, senior citizens, students or group travelers. 
It is not possible to combine Vienna City Card benefits with other discounts, such as a student card, Lower Austria Card, disability card or similar.

Each benefit can only be redeemed once.

Yes, it is possible to take your dog instead of a child on public transport free of charge. For more information, please visit our partner's website at www.wienerlinien.at.

No - Without the Airport Transfer, a separate ticket is required for the outer airport zone. 
With the additional “Airport Transfer” offer, the journey to and from the airport is included. 

No - If an app ticket is selected, the Vienna City Card can only be linked to the ivie app once. 
It is not possible to "unbind" the card and "bind" it to another smartphone. 

You can purchase additional offers with your City Card. 
With the AIRPORT TRANSFER you can use the transfer from and to the airport.
With HOP-ON HOP-OFF you can use the services of our partners for 24 hours.

If you would still like to have one of our additional offers after completing your purchase, you can book the AIRPORT TRANSFER and/or HOP-ON HOP-OFF at the Tourist Information Centres at the airport or Albertinaplatz. The add-on booking is possible for all Vienna City Card versions (physical, app ticket, print@home). The costs for this must be paid directly at the Tourist Information Centres.

Unfortunately, this is not possible in the online shop.

Vienna Sightseeing Tours and Big Bus Tours Vienna are partners of the Vienna City Card and accept it. Please note, however, that it is no longer possible to change to the other partner once you have selected/validated the selected bus.

Reach Vienna Airport with CAT, VAL, Railjet or the S7 express train. Add the Airport Transfer Add On to your Vienna City Card and enjoy a comfortable transfer to Vienna.

The “classic” Vienna City Card is only valid in the city area of Vienna. The transfer to and from the airport is not included. You can use the “classic” Vienna City Card to Vienna Airport if you purchase the Vienna Airport Transfer Add On.

You can use the transfer on all public transport to and from the airport within 7 days and redeem it several times.

The additional offer Hop-On Hop-Off costs 31.00€.

The additional add on of the airport transport costs 22,00€. 

You can buy a voucher for your tourist ticket here on the website or via the "ivie" app. 

The Vienna City Card vouchers relate to individual products, a value voucher cannot be purchased.

Vouchers can currently be booked without an additional offer (hop-on hop-off or airport transfer). 

There are 8 different voucher drafts with different images to choose from. You can select the image you want and add a personal message to your voucher. 
Vouchers are available in German and English - depending on which language you visit the website in.

Vouchers are transferable. If you buy several vouchers for the Vienna City Card, you will receive a PDF with all the voucher codes. 
If you would like to receive several vouchers as a PDF, please place separate orders. 

The voucher code for the desired product can be entered on the website. 
In the next step, the person receiving the gift can configure the product: select the period of use and shipping method. 

The voucher code is valid for 6 months. 

If several vouchers are purchased with one order, you will receive one PDF with all voucher codes. 
Only one layout can be selected for the order.
