Vienna City Card strives to make its websites accessible in accordance with the Federal Act on Accessibility Requirements for Products and Services (Accessibility Act - BaFG).
This accessibility statement applies to the website www.viennacitycard.at.
Status of compliance with requirements
This website is partially compliant with the guidelines for accessible web content due to the incompatibilities and exceptions outlined below.
The underlying criteria are based on WCAG 2.2 Conformance Level AA or the equivalent European Standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:
a) Incompatibility with accessibility regulations
- The PDF version of the Vienna City Card and the PDF receipt are currently not tagged and therefore cannot be used by all assistive technologies. We are currently working on implementing accessible PDFs (WCAG success criterion 4.1.2 Name, role, value).
- The focus order is not implemented correctly in the mobile navigation, cookie banner, and shop. (WCAG success criterion 2.4.3 Focus order).
- The language attribute used is not valid, which may result in the page not being read aloud with the correct language output. (WCAG success criterion 3.1.1 Language Markup)
- When purchasing a Vienna City Card, the requirements for error prevention and accessible labeling are not implemented correctly. (WCAG Success Criterion 3.3.4 Error Prevention and 3.2.2 On Input)
